ABOUT THE PROJECT

Naija hair school is an online course platform designed to empower the natural hair community on how to grow and nurture their hair. It is owned by Oghenefejiro Suoyo, a Certified Biochemist and a trained cosmetic formulator.

PROJECT GOAL

Naija Hair School approached Tecspike for assistance in developing a new website for their hair course. They desired a website that would host their online course and be accessible to their students from anywhere in the world.

THE CHALLENGE

Finding a strong, suitable video hosting platform for the course is essential for the video courses to load and render quickly. Another challenge is developing a system that will allow the course instructor to track the progress of the students, as well as developing a learning management system that organizes the course in a sequential manner and automatically plays each lesson.

OUR APPROACH

To achieve the project goal, we devised a well-thought-out plan and process for addressing the challenges encountered while building the website. We created a learning management system with a smart focus feature to eliminate distractions and allow learners to focus solely on completing their courses. The course videos were hosted on a platform that provides smooth playback and high-quality streaming. The overall functionality of the website allowed for a payment gateway for the course, a clean design, a responsive layout across all devices, and a well-optimized website.
